This plan is awesome for those who are trying to build muscle, peri-menopausal women (as long as they are doing some form of resistance exercise), and for pre-diabetic people. It can be useful for diabetic people as well, however you may need to add some complex carbohydrates such as a sweet potato or brown rice to prevent blood sugars from dropping too low in the beginning stages and adjust as medications are adjusted.
